Senior Accountant - UAE | Financial Reporting&Compliance

<p>We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting the overall financial operations of the business.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets</li><li>Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries</li><li>Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies</li><li>Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes</li><li>Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities</li><li>Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations</li><li>Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making</li><li>Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>5–7 years of relevant accounting experience</li><li>Previous experience working in the UAE is required</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of the Arabic language is preferable</li><li>Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
