Senior Accountant - UAE | Financial Reporting & Compliance

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting the overall financial operations of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgetsManage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entriesEnsure compliance with local financial regulations and company policiesMonitor accounts payable and receivable processesAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesSupport audits by providing required documentation and explanationsAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-makingCoordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reportingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5–7 years of relevant accounting experiencePrevious experience working in the UAE is requiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of the Arabic language is preferableProfessional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
