Senior Accountant

<div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.</li><li>Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for month‑end and year‑end close.</li><li>Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper classification of transactions.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Collaborate with auditors for financial audits and internal controls compliance.</li><li>Assist in tax compliance by providing necessary financial data and supporting documentation.</li><li>Implement and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Work closely with cross‑functional teams to support operational finance needs.</li><li>Provide support on ERP system implementation, upgrades, and process automation.</li><li>Supports in budgeting, and forecasting.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts, identifying key drivers.</li><li>Support long‑term financial planning, including cash flow forecasting.</li><li>Partner with business units to analyze profitability, cost structures, and margin optimization.</li><li>Assist in the development of board reports, and management reports.</li><li>Evaluate and optimize financial processes, driving automation and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial data for reporting.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.</li><li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).</li><li>5+ years of experience in similar roles.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
