Senior Accountant

Neweast Isuzu is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation and timely resolution of discrepancies.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT filings and other statutory requirements.Support year-end audit processes, liaising with auditors and providing required financial information.Review and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.Monitor and maintain fixed asset schedules and perform depreciation calculations.Assist in improving accounting procedures and financial reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with company goals. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior accounting role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.Join Our Team!If you're a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of the finance team at Neweast Isuzu.
