Senior Accountant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves managing financial reporting, tax compliance, payroll processing, audit coordination, budgeting support and vendor/customer transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure timely month‑end closures, accurate financial records and strong internal financial controls.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policiesPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Ensure month‑end closing of books within 7 working daysPrepare monthly management reports and financial analysisManage VAT filing and ensure compliance with local tax regulationsSupport corporate tax compliance and maintain proper documentationCoordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditorsProcess payroll accurately including salary calculations and deductionsPrepare customer invoices and ensure timely submission through prescribed channelsManage vendor payments, verify invoices and reconcile accounts payablePass monthly intercompany entries and reconcile intercompany balancesAssist in budgeting, financial forecasting and variance analysisHandle daily financial tasks and respond to management inquiriesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field35 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate tax regulationsExperience with financial reporting and audit coordinationProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities#J-18808-Ljbffr
