Senior Accountant (AP, PPE, GL, Inventory and Budget)A multinational professional services organization serving global and national organizations located in Qatar is seeking an Accounting & Financial services professional for the following position.Job SummarySenior Accountant (AP, PPE, GL, Inventory and Budget)ResponsibilitiesEnsure that CLIENT fixed assets are recorded, recognized, re-valued, depreciated, capitalized and disposed of in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as an off‑balance‑sheet item.Maintain Fixed Asset Register of CLIENT.Validate records are genuine, accurate and supported before recording in the accounting software.Organize and maintain the GL and develop treasury activities of the corporation.Coach, supervise and train new Accountants who will join CLIENT finance department.Review financial reports for internal and external vendors.Ensure all invoices received are input into the system on a timely basis.Ensure all payments are authorized according to policies and procedures.Assist with the implementation of Accounts Payables best practices by recommending improvements to the AP section head.Use JDE for recording, reconciling and generating reports to the financial controllers and the Finance Manager in addition to assist the AP team in daily recording processes.Manage the process of ensuring that Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable monthly transactions are accurately transferred to the General Ledger and transactions reconciled.Lead the review process to ensure that the monthly transactions processed through Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are accurately posted to the correct accounts.Job SkillsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.Qualified professional degree preferred (e.g., CMA, ACCA).Minimum 6–8 years of experience with recognized firms.Working knowledge of JOE-ERP system.Highly numerate with developed analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data.Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs.In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including the ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements, budgeting, fixed asset, amortization principles, depreciation, and leasing.Familiarity with bank cash management systems.Bi‑lingual with mastery of written and spoken Arabic and English.Language RequirementsArabic - Native / Mother Tongue.English - Fluent / Excellent.Other RequirementsOwn a Car – Any.Have Driving License – Any.About the Company#J-18808-Ljbffr
