This role is critical for improving KPIs, enhancing customer experience, and driving data‑driven performance strategies.Detailed Job DescriptionAs a Senior RAN Performance & Optimization Engineer, you will manage end-to-end optimization for 4G and 5G networks, analyzing complex datasets to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements. You will work on KPI tuning, OOKLA ranking analysis, and user experience insights using advanced analytics tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge technology deployments and strategic performance enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform RAN performance analysis and optimization for 4G/5G networks.Conduct audits of parameters and features; recommend and implement improvements.Analyze OOKLA results, throughput, latency, and degradation trends.Perform device‑level analysis, including router/smartphone issues and N40 capability checks.Manage traffic growth analysis and propose optimization strategies.Create dashboards and reports using SQL, VBA, Python, and MS Office.Conduct coverage gap and complaint analysis using CRM and geo‑location data.Support new technology use cases and improvement proposals.Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 7+ years of experience in 4G/5G RAN optimization and performance engineering.Strong proficiency in SQL, VBA, Python, and Linux shell scripting.Advanced skills in MS Office for technical and executive reporting.Experience with EZE call flow–based analysis and related studies.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Nice‑to‑Have SkillsFamiliarity with Tableau or other BI tools for visualization.Experience with automation for performance reporting.Knowledge of advanced RAN features and emerging technologies.Exposure to customer experience management tools and methodologies.Recruitment Pro TipHighlight your experience in 4G/5G RAN optimization and include examples of KPI improvement projects in your CV.
