SENCO ( Special Education Coordinator)

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and coordinating the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support required to thrive academically and personally. As SENCO, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a tailored approach for each student.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs.Develop and implement individualized support plans (IEPs) for students.Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in differentiating their teaching methods.Liaise with parents, guardians, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN and report to senior leadership.Coordinate and oversee interventions and support programs for students with diverse learning needs.Stay updated on SEN policies, best practices, and legislative requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
