Security Operations Lead

<p>Job description:<br><br><p>2. JOB PURPOSE:<br>To assist in the effective implementation of the localised EGA’s corporate Security control/protection strategic plans, policies and programs across the assigned area of operations in order to ensure adherence with world class Security control/protection practices in accord with international / local legislation and standards.</p><p>3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<br>Policies, Processes&Procedures<br>Implements approved departmental, policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Security department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are adhered to while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner within their assigned area of operations<br>Day-to-Day Operations<br>Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Security department to ensure they comply with established policies, processes and procedures within their assigned area of operations<br>Investigation&Reporting<br>Undertakes as necessary investigations and reporting of Security incidents (where required, in conjunction with appropriate agencies) and make recommendations as a result of the outcome of such incidents.<br>EGA HUMAN CAPTIAL PROCEDRUE EGA/HC/GEN.05.03.F01<br>File: EGAHCGEN0503F01.doc Revision: 0 (07-Apr-2015) Page 2 of 3<br>Training&Embedment<br>Assist with planning, organising and conducting a wide range of Security training courses to all levels within the organisation to promote Security awareness and reduce the number and severity of Security incidents.<br>Maintenance, Testing&Inspection<br>Control and coordinate all maintenance and testing of Security protection systems throughout the plant to ensure their operational readiness.<br>Conducts routine evaluations of the workplace, as required advising on all aspects of Security precautions to identify any areas of non-conformance with local regulatory requirements and internationally accepted standards and recommend solutions to ensure compliance.<br>Be familiar with the local regulatory requirements and International Standards<br>Safety, Quality&Environment<br>Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment<br>Related Assignments<br>Performs other related duties or assignments as directed</p><p>4. AUTHORITY/ DECISION MAKING:<br>Guidelines:<br>Thinking within clearly defined policies, standards and specific objectives.<br>Decision Making:<br>Direction of work is subject to practices and procedures, output is managed.</p><p>5.
