Security Operations Lead

Job description:2. JOB PURPOSE:To assist in the effective implementation of the localised EGA’s corporate Security control/protection strategic plans, policies and programs across the assigned area of operations in order to ensure adherence with world class Security control/protection practices in accord with international / local legislation and standards.3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Policies, Processes & ProceduresImplements approved departmental, policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Security department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are adhered to while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner within their assigned area of operationsDay-to-Day OperationsImplements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Security department to ensure they comply with established policies, processes and procedures within their assigned area of operationsInvestigation & ReportingUndertakes as necessary investigations and reporting of Security incidents (where required, in conjunction with appropriate agencies) and make recommendations as a result of the outcome of such incidents.EGA HUMAN CAPTIAL PROCEDRUE EGA/HC/GEN.05.03.F01File: EGAHCGEN0503F01.doc Revision: 0 (07-Apr-2015) Page 2 of 3Training & EmbedmentAssist with planning, organising and conducting a wide range of Security training courses to all levels within the organisation to promote Security awareness and reduce the number and severity of Security incidents.Maintenance, Testing & InspectionControl and coordinate all maintenance and testing of Security protection systems throughout the plant to ensure their operational readiness.Conducts routine evaluations of the workplace, as required advising on all aspects of Security precautions to identify any areas of non-conformance with local regulatory requirements and internationally accepted standards and recommend solutions to ensure compliance.Be familiar with the local regulatory requirements and International StandardsSafety, Quality & EnvironmentComplies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environmentRelated AssignmentsPerforms other related duties or assignments as directed4.
