Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit aSecurity Managerto join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead campus security operations and ensure the safety of students, staff, visitors, and school property. This role plays a key part in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and child-safe environment through effective safeguarding practices, emergency preparedness, and strong operational leadership.The role:We seek an individual to join as aSecurity Managerwhere your focus will be:Overseeing daily security operations across all school buildings and grounds, including traffic management and access controlManaging and supervising contracted security personnel to ensure all security posts are effectively staffed and operatingMonitoring CCTV, alarm systems, perimeter security and access control systemsSupporting safeguarding and child protection policies by ensuring security protocols align with Nord Anglia and local regulatory standardsLeading emergency preparedness activities including fire drills, lockdown drills, evacuations and crisis response proceduresDeveloping and enforcing security policies, SOPs and risk management proceduresMaintaining accurate incident reports, visitor logs and security documentationManaging visitor access, contractor entry and vehicle movement across campusWorking closely with the HSE and Operations teams to support risk assessments and safety complianceDelivering safety awareness training and emergency response guidance to staff and studentsLiaising with local authorities including police, civil defence and emergency services where requiredThe Successful Candidate will possess:Minimum5 years’ experience in Security Managementor a related fieldExperience overseeing security operations in complex environments such as schools, campuses, hospitality or large facilitiesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent situational awareness and ability to respond effectively in emergency situationsExperience developing and implementing security procedures and risk mitigation strategiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentialityAbility to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisionsExperience with incident reporting, risk assessment and safety compliance frameworksCandidates with qualifications or certifications infirst aid, fire safety, emergency response, or incident investigationwill be highly advantageous.Nord Anglia Education is the world’s leading international schools organisation.
