<div><h3>The Academy</h3><p>GEMS World Academy-Dubai (GWA) is a private, co-educational IB World School for PreK to Grade 12 students. This has been achieved through the dedication of staff, their exceptional subject knowledge, and the department’s forward-thinking approach to data and the curriculum. The Inclusion department is highly regarded among our student body for the care and personal support offered to students.</p><p>We are now seeking an innovative<b>Secondary Alternative Pathways Teacher</b>to join our successful team from<b>August 2026</b>.</p><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Liaise with Head of Inclusion on Alternative Pathway curriculum development and timetabling.</li><li>Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion on any future developments for the Alternative Pathway at the school.</li><li>Liaise with specialist subject teachers on modification of the curriculum for mainstream lessons.</li><li>Update and oversee IASEND assessment tracker for Alternative Pathway.</li><li>Liaise with HOI and specialist subject teachers on Alternative Pathway reporting systems.</li><li>Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) and Learning Support case managers on the design and management of ASDAN’s and Alternative Pathway resources.</li><li>Internally moderate ASDAN student files for certification.</li><li>Lead professional development training sessions on ASDAN for 1:1 Learning Support Assistants.</li><li>Lead on the delivery of ASDAN tasks and assignments.</li><li>To coordinate and work closely with the Dubai ASDAN coordinator and the International Development coordinator, to ensure effective integration, review and moderation of ASDAN.</li><li>Keep up to date with national and international developments in ASDAN curriculum.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
