School Wellness Coordinator

The School Nurse Wellness Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the overall wellbeing,safety and operational quality of the school environment. This role combines student/staffwellness oversight, coordination of health-related initiatives, compliance monitoring andcollaboration with academic and administrative teams, and supporting the Sister in charge ifthe schools . The idea candidate brings school experience, strong organizational skills, clinicalcompetence, and proactive attitude toward learning school systems and process.ResponsibilitiesPromote a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment forstudents and staffAssist in implementing wellness programs, health education activities,and preventive initiativesSupport staff/students with basic health needs within the scope of competence and school policyCollaborate with counselors, teachers, and parents to address students’ well-being concernsSupporting Sister School nurse in JCI compliance with the KPI such as auditingAssist in organizing school events, awareness campaigns and training sessionsSupport administrative tasks as needed to enhance school operationsProviding temporary cover considering any absencesProviding competency and education-based activities to school nursesActing as a preceptee for new joinersQualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification is requiredWith experience in related field or similar setupHas worked in a large school environment +1000 students within the last 5 yearsUnderstanding about school clinic set upWith good knowledge and awareness of ExcelHighly self-motivated with strong internal work standards; sets realistic goals for self and supports others in achieving team objectivesMaintains professional and personal credibility across all staff groups.Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
