Successful applicants will be subject to various background checks including, receipt of high-quality references, proof of relevant qualifications, identification and police checks, including overseas checks.Key AccountabilitiesDeal with students’ health issues including administering drugs, vaccines and other appropriate treatmentsCheck on lunch boxes and the food served in the school canteen to support the school’s agenda on maintaining a healthy living environment; as well as undertaking healthy eating talks with students>Support Health and Safety in school by liaising with Facilities Manager on regular checksManage all issues with DHA including compliance, approvals and statisticsMake sure all First Aid Kits are appropriately maintainedUndertake School Medicals with specific year groupsCommunicating with Parents regarding health and safety issuesAdminister vaccinations in the school (DHA approved only)Communicate and liaise with Children’s Health department at the DHASupport, manage and caring for children with very specific health issues e.g. diabetic studentsMember of the Health and Safety CommitteeInput clinic visits into proactive system#J-18808-Ljbffr
