School Finance Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi (school-based)Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a School Finance Manager to join our Abu Dhabi schools.This is a key leadership role within the school working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team alongside regional finance colleagues. The role offers broad financial responsibility combining operational finance leadership with strategic planning and Group reporting.ResponsibilitiesLead the finance function within a dynamic commercially focused school environmentDrive strong financial planning, reporting and internal controlsPartner with school leadership to support decision‑making and performanceEnsure full compliance with local regulations and Group finance standardsThe RoleWe seek an individual to join as a School Finance Manager where the focus will be:Leading month‑end statutory reporting and the annual external audit processPreparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts aligned to school objectivesManaging cash flow, working capital and financial risk visibilityOverseeing procurement processes and supplier contract managementEnsuring compliance with VAT, Corporate Income Tax and local statutory requirementsSupervising accounts payable, receivable and payroll processesPartnering with SLT and budget holders to drive commercial performance and operational efficiencyContributing to Group reporting and financial processes (approximately 25% of the role)QualificationsA recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent)A minimum of 7 years experience in accounting or financial leadershipExperience in reporting, budgeting, consolidation and business planningStrong leadership and people management capabilityAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream or equivalent)Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both finance and non‑finance stakeholdersExperience within education or a service‑oriented organisation is advantageous.Please see the full job description here.About UsNord Anglia Education is the world's leading premium international schools organisation with more than 80 schools across 30 countries.
