The SAP Technical Lead will oversee the administration and operation of SAP-centric solution management. Key responsibilities include delivering technical guidance and ensuring that the NetWeaver team complies with established technical standards, collaborating with Functional and Technical Designers to guarantee consistent and high-quality technical solutions that align with the agreed designs, and playing a crucial part in enhancing the team's technical knowledge and delivery capabilities. The position encompasses all facets of SAP NetWeaver administration, such as system installations and upgrades, troubleshooting and resolution, database management, client copies, system refreshes, SAP instance configuration, and performance optimization for a complex system landscape. Furthermore, the SAP Technical Manager will engage in the transition process to facilitate a seamless shift from implementation to production operations.RequirementsOffer technical analysis and oversight proficiency in the management of SAP Netweaver and SAP development teams, thereby directly shaping business solutionsCollaborate effectively with the Implementation Delivery Leadership Team to aid in the development and execution of services within the SAP domainDevelop comprehensive documentation for SAP system administration, development processes, and operational guidelinesEnsure compliance with established standards during the execution of procedures, quality assurance measures, templates, and documentationOversee existing operational guidelines to guarantee consistency and completenessTake appropriate actions to investigate and resolve incidents and issues arising within SAP systems and servicesUphold the integrity, manageability, and architectural fidelity of SAP systemsAct as a technical lead in the design, development, testing, and implementation of technology solutionsEstablish a performance baseline, monitor system performance, and optimize for maximum efficiencyDevelop SAP technical components and maintain fluency in various SAP technologiesEngage with the Netweaver team to establish a suitable security model for any new enhancements or modifications, leveraging expertise in the current SAP security modelLead the resolution of matters associated with the implementation and testing of SAP SPS upgrades and service pack enhancementsParticipate in the Change Request process to document and validate the necessity for changesImplement and evaluate backup and recovery strategies, high availability solutions, as well as configurations for network, database, and operating systemsFoster and maintain effective, productive relationships with clients and team membersUndertake additional responsibilities as required to meet the objectives of the roleEducationA graduate or post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field from a recognized national or international educational institution. Proficient communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.Relevant ExperienceOver 10 years of professional experience in SAP projectsAt least 5 years of experience in managing SAP landscapes within midsize or large organizationsProficient in SAP Basis/NetWeaver administration for both ABAP and JAVA stacksFamiliarity with multiple operating system environments, including Linux, Unix, and WindowsExperience in implementing S/4 HANASkilled in the installation and configuration of various SAP productsCompetence in hardware capacity planningKnowledgeable in various backup and recovery tools utilized with SAP productsExperienced in high availability solutionsProficient in the SAP Correction Transport System and SAP Security managementUnderstanding of different SAP security models and products, such as SSO and IDMFamiliarity with change management processesInsight into internal support and escalation processesKnowledge of SAP support processes (OSS) along with escalation workflowsExperience in enterprise-wide system implementationsExperience with SAP defense-related products is an advantageSkills RequirementsProven project leadership within and between teamsStrong organizational, time, and stress management skills; meets deadlines consistentlyEffective multi-tasking abilitiesAvailability for off-hours work and on-call responsibilitiesDecisive under pressureIndependent work capability with minimal supervisionSkilled in facilitating issue resolution across teamsExcellent written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills#J
