SAP Project Manager

Job Description As a Project Manager at Infosys Consulting, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer requirements, business processes, and solution landscapes. Your responsibilities will include: Being a trusted advisor for customers by leading project works based on defined scope Creating detailed project plans and executing them Understanding SAP project methodology and premium engagements services, and adopting them to the project Coordinating the involvement of SAP consultants and support resources, and leading them in the project Making proper reports and escalations to management or executive level Establishing, overseeing, and driving IT delivery plans including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities, and quality as defined in the IT Project Management Methodology (ADF) Managing and coordinating IT project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting to stakeholders and review boards Managing and coordinating technical interdependencies between workstreams Analyzing, evaluating, and overcoming program risks, and producing program reports for managers and stakeholders Driving effective risks & issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used Ensuring the IT project team adheres to all standards including ADF, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and best practices Working closely with the Business Project Manager to provide input into the overall Transformation Programme Management office ensuring appropriate visibility of RAID & planning of IT solution deliverables Overseeing systemic impediments to team agility and guiding the teams on methods to escalate Partnering with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams and project/program managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards Collaborating with product owners, program, or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness Receiving direction from leaders and exercising independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Executing consulting engagements in a global delivery model, collaborating with consultants across regions and being part of a team of high-performing consultants Contributing to the profile and reputation of Infosys Consulting through firm building, new capability and offering development initiatives, thought leadership, and whitepapers
