SAP Functional Lead - Fleet Management (FLM)&Transportation Management (TM)

<div><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead with deep expertise in Fleet Management (FLM) and/or Transportation Management (TM) to join a high-profile defense transformation program in the Middle East. The successful candidate will own end-to-end solution design and delivery within their functional domain, leading a team of SAP consultants and serving as the primary interface between the implementation team and the defense ministry client.</p><p>This is a senior, client-facing leadership role that requires both deep technical depth in SAP FLM/TM and the gravitas to manage stakeholder relationships in a defense environment.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and manage the FLM/TM functional domain from design through go-live, owning all deliverables within the agreed project timeline</li><li>Define solution architecture for fleet and transportation processes, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and defense-sector requirements</li><li>Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and fit-gap analyses with the client's business and technical stakeholders</li><li>Supervise and mentor functional team members, monitoring day-to-day performance and quality of output</li><li>Collaborate with technical, security, and other functional domain leads to ensure integrated, end-to-end solutions</li><li>Engage with the authorization team to establish and implement appropriate security models within the FLM/TM domain</li><li>Drive issue resolution across implementation, testing, and upgrade cycles</li><li>Review and provide input to shared project deliverables including UAT plans, configuration documents, and cutover strategies</li><li>Monitor system performance post-go-live and lead fine-tuning activities to ensure peak operational performance</li><li>Participate in change request assessment and document justification for scope changes</li></ul><h3>What We Are Looking For</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent from a reputable institution</li><li>SAP Certification in a relevant module (PM, EAM, TM, or equivalent) — mandatory</li><li>Business-level proficiency in both Arabic and English — mandatory</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>15+ years of SAP experience with deep functional expertise in FLM (SAP PM/EAM fleet application) and/or SAP TM</li><li>Minimum 5 years of SAP implementation experience within defense, military, or government ministry environments — this is a hard requirement</li><li>Proven track record of leading functional teams on large-scale SAP programs</li><li>Hands‑on experience with SAP Activate methodology across the full project lifecycle</li><li>Strong understanding of SAP integration points across adjacent modules: MM, FICO, HR, BI</li><li>Knowledge of SAP security models and products (SSO, IDM) from an integration and governance perspective</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, and Request Management)</li></ul><h3>Module-Specific Requirements</h3><h3>FLM — Fleet Management</h3><ul><li>SAP PM/EAM applied to vehicle and equipment fleet lifecycle</li><li>Preventive&breakdown maintenance scheduling</li><li>Fuel consumption tracking and fleet cost management</li><li>Spare parts&MRO procurement integration (SAP MM)</li><li>Military/defense vehicle or equipment fleet experience preferred</li></ul><h3>TM — Transportation Management</h3><ul><li>SAP TM (standalone or S/4HANA embedded) implementation experience</li><li>Freight order management, carrier selection, and route optimization</li><li>Shipment tracking and load planning configuration</li><li>Integration with SAP MM, SD, EWM</li><li>Defense logistics or government supply chain context preferred</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li>Team leadership</li><li>Stakeholder management</li><li>Solution design</li><li>SAP Activate</li><li>ITIL Foundation</li><li>Requirements gathering</li><li>Arabic&English</li><li>Risk management</li><li>Change management</li><li>Cross‑functional collaboration</li><li>Performance monitoring</li><li>UAT oversight</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
