SAP Data Migration

Experience: 7 to 9 yearsWork location: Hyderabad/BangaloreWork timings: 2pm to 11pm ISTJob Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Specialist. The candidate should have a strong experience in SAP data migration processes, particularly for the SD (Sales and Distribution), CS (Customer Service), PM (Plant Maintenance), MM (Materials Management), and FICO (Finance and Controlling) modules. This role involves planning, executing, and managing complex data migration projects as part of SAP implementations or system upgrades.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement data migration strategies for SAP SD, SM, PM, MM, and FICO modulesAnalyze source data from legacy systems and map it to SAP data structuresDesign and create data migration templates for various SAP modules using MS ExcelUtilize advanced Excel functions and features for data cleansing, transformation, and validationDevelop data extraction, transformation, and loading processesConfigure and use SAP data migration tools such as LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and SAP Data uploading processPerform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities using Excel and other available toolsDevelop custom programs or scripts for data conversion when necessaryConduct thorough testing of migrated data, including integration testingCollaborate with functional consultants and business teams to ensure data meets business requirementsCreate and maintain documentation for data migration processes and mappingsProvide training and support to the client team on data migration activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve data migration issuesEnsure data integrity and consistency across all migrated modulesAdhere to data privacy and security standards during the migration processQualificationsMinimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP data migration projectsStrong knowledge of SAP data structures and tables for SD, CS, PM, MM, and FICO modulesExpertise in using SAP data migration tools (e.g., LSMW, SAP BDC, other custom developments)Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systemsFamiliarity with ETL processes and toolsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsTechnical SkillsSAP ECC and/or S/4HANAABAP programming (for data migration scripts) is plusSAP LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench)SQL and database managementExcel (advanced level for data manipulation)Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for project documentationAdditional SkillsExperience with SAP HANA migration is a plusKnowledge of industry‑specific data requirements (e.g., manufacturing, sales, material management)Familiarity with data governance principlesExperience with data quality management toolsNOTE: Knowledge and experience in Knime Analytics Platform is preferable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
