Job Description As a Sales Professional at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services in the medical device/pharma industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducting market research including customers' and competitors' activities.
- Implementing market development plans/strategies and making changes as needed.
- Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
In this role, you will be a seasoned sales professional managing large accounts involving multiple team members. You will work autonomously with limited supervision, build a network of relationships, and have a significant impact on achieving departmental sales results. Your responsibilities will include:
- Securing and maintaining product distributions and/or services, as well as maintaining effective agreements.
- Working to achieve individual sales targets by developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
- Driving adoption and penetration in accounts.
- Making improvements to sales processes and tools to enhance job performance.
- Recommending changes in account strategy and tactics to achieve sales goals.
You will have the opportunity to influence internal contacts and external suppliers, customers, and vendors regarding policies, practices, and procedures. Additionally, you may provide guidance, coaching, and training to other sales professionals and/or support employees.
