Job Description As a Sales Support Specialist at Cummins Genuine Parts (CGP), your role involves supporting the growth of the CGP business in the assigned territory through various strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with internal sales teams and external distributor resources to drive engagement with retailers, mechanics, re-borers, and key accounts. Your responsibilities include:
- **Market Development & Demand Generation:**
- Lead and guide distributor teams to grow the CGP business.
- Generate demand for Genuine Parts through various channels.
- Enroll new mechanics and re-borers into loyalty programs.
- Increase the number of active retailers, mechanics, and re-borers.
- Promote new parts to enhance market penetration.
- Identify loyal customers and provide support for branding initiatives.
- **Channel & Distributor Management:**
- Monitor beat plans for coverage and productivity improvement.
- Map customers to retailers and ensure stocking support.
- Conduct regular training sessions for distributor teams.
- Enhance customer satisfaction indices.
- **Customer Engagement & Technical Support:**
- Organize activities to engage with mechanics, retailers, and key accounts.
- Resolve technical queries and integrate customer feedback for improvements.
- **Sales Reporting, Systems & Analytics:**
- Prepare and distribute sales reports.
- Revise reporting templates and provide forecasting support.
- Administer systems such as Salesforce and portals.
- Analyze market data to identify sales opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education, Licenses & Certifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Licensing may be required for compliance purposes.
