About the job Sales Manager - Water & Wastewater TreatmentOur long-standing Tier 1 client is a well-established engineering solutions provider operating across the power generation, water treatment, desalination, and utilities sectors. The organisation partners with leading international manufacturers to deliver advanced technical systems and integrated infrastructure solutions across the region.They are looking for Sales Manager -Water & Wastewater Treatment for their Commercial Engineering division, who will lead the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy within the water treatment segment. This is a senior leadership position with full commercial and operational accountability, driving revenue expansion, optimising performance, and strengthening market position. The role offers significant exposure to strategic decision-making, regional market development, and collaboration with international principals and suppliers.Strategic Leadership & GrowthDevelop and implement divisional sales and growth strategies.Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.Align divisional objectives with overall corporate strategy.Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative technologies.Lead bid preparation, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.Ensure timely collection of receivables and debtor control.Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and margin optimisation.Deliver sustainable and profitable sales pipelines.Operational & Technical OversightProvide technical direction across water treatment solutions portfolio.Optimise product mix, including O&M chemicals and technologies.Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, Safety & Quality standards.Oversee efficient logistics, procurement, and inventory control.Stakeholder & Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.Coordinate effectively with principals and international suppliers.Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships.Report divisional performance and market insights to senior leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years’ experience in water or wastewater treatment industry.Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional commercial teams.Strong background in strategic sales and large account management.Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and commercial structuring.Sound technical knowledge of water treatment technologies and O&M chemicals.Experience working with international suppliers and principals.Strong analytical, financial, and operational management capability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
