Job Description

Black & Grey HR is seeking an experienced Chinese-speaking Sales Manager – Ocean Freight for one of our clients based in Dubai. The role will focus on driving ocean freight sales, developing new business opportunities, and managing key customer relationships within the freight forwarding sector.The ideal candidate will bring strong freight forwarding sales experience, solid knowledge of ocean freight services, and a proven ability to develop and manage logistics accounts, particularly with Chinese clients and within the broader Asian logistics market.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow Ocean Freight business by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.Promote the company’s FCL and LCL ocean freight solutions to potential and existing clients.Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into confirmed shipments.Prepare and present competitive quotations and logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements.Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long‑term partnerships and repeat business.Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.Monitor market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.RequirementsFluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken).5+ years of sales experience in the freight forwarding / logistics industry, preferably in Ocean Freight.Expertise in FCL/LCL ocean freight services and logistics solutions.Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.Experience working with Chinese clients or within the broader Asian logistics market and strong understanding of the ocean freight trade lanes between China/Asia and the GCC region.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive market.BenefitsAttractive Salary + Benefits#J-18808-Ljbffr
