Job Description
Job PurposeLead and manage the sales team. Develop and implement sales strategies, set and achieve sales targets, and foster relationships with customers and partners within the electrical products sector. Drive revenue growth, optimize the product portfolio, and ensure the team's success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives. Participate in market analysis, product development, and ensure alignment with the company's objectives and industry trends.Key Accountability AreasEfficient Inquiry and Tender Management:Oversee and ensure the effective handling of all incoming inquiries and tenders.Provide strategic direction to deliver accurate and timely responses, maximizing sales opportunities and aligning with organizational goals.Supportive Documents and Samples Preparation:Supervise the preparation of all necessary documents, samples, and submittals for tenders and inquiries.Ensure the timely delivery of supportive materials to customers to enhance success rates.Material Preparation and Coordination:Manage coordination efforts with relevant teams to ensure material readiness.Oversee timely delivery to meet customer requirements and address any challenges.Competitor Monitoring and Reporting:Monitor competitors’ market activities and analyze their strategies.Report findings to sales leadership, recommending actionable adjustments to strategies.Market Presence and Technical Support:Plan and lead technical meetings and seminars to enhance product visibility and market presence.Provide high-level technical guidance and support to customers, strengthening product awareness.Reporting and Customer Management:Review and approve detailed and timely reports on sales activities, trends, and progress.Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.Project Identification and Follow‑up:Oversee the identification and monitoring of potential projects.Direct close follow‑ups to maximize project realization and align efforts with organizational objectives.Customer Satisfaction and Payment Management:Address escalated customer concerns and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction.Monitor payment collections and ensure adherence to financial compliance, minimizing overdue balances.Data Management and Forecasting:Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of project and customer databases.Oversee the preparation of precise sales forecasts to optimize resource allocation and planning.Role AccountabilityHR Proficiency:Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers and expose them to create a robust second line of management.Recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.Treat subordinates equally without any discrimination.Assess subordinates based on performance that leads to planned results.Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix as per company policy.Responsibility:Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and required deliverables.Anticipate problems and take proactive steps to prevent them.Make timely and appropriate decisions.Delivery:Deliver required results in a timely manner with required quality and cost.Make a tangible difference to the area of operation and exceed business expectations.Business Planning and Performance:Transform corporate goals into business plans.Plan, follow‑up and execute those plans, whether they are annual or development plans.Monitor plan performance and initiate corrective action to strengthen results.Provide periodic work progress reports.Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.Organizational Development:Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements.Ensure availability of job descriptions for all roles and deployment.Business Process Improvements:Develop, coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and pursue automation opportunities.Navigate through IT solutions relevant to the job and business.Promote automated systems and use them fully to spread the culture.Quality:Recognize quality as the company’s prime competitive advantage and act accordingly.Adaptation:Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.Health, Safety and Environment:Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per standard regulations.Academic QualificationBachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business ManagementWork Experience6 to 10 YearsTechnical / Functional CompetenciesMarket AnalysisMarket Segmentation AnalysisCustomer Relationship MarketingMarketing and Sales StrategiesSales ForecastingSales PlanningSales PromotionsSales ResearchSales Trend Analysis#J-18808-Ljbffr
