Job Description
MISSIONThe mission of this position is primarily to represent the interests of the Company with a special focus on the Middle East region, by further increasing the volume of precious metals sales and our existing customer base, and by developing new opportunities in the area.The jobholder will be a member of the sales team and will be working closely with logistics and operations to ensure ongoing optimal collaboration between cross-functional teams and the organization’s goals and results.This position can be based in Dubai or Riyadh.MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer relationshipsMaintain and expand the customer base through the introduction of innovative products backed by the provision of superior servicesEnsure that agreed customer service levels are achievedMaintain regular contact with valued customers to strengthen relationships through personalized interaction, and at the same time market the Group’s products and servicesAssist the trading team with their activities (Physical and financial trading, customer service, projects, etc)Work in close collaboration with the Customer Support TeamBusiness developmentThrough an excellent knowledge of the precious metals market and the customer needs in the Middle East, provide the Sales team with input to attract new customersKeep abreast of market changes and trends to identify new opportunities and monitor risksSupport the marketing team in developing and implementing strategies to market the Group's products in the areaCompliance and risk managementComply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirementsAdditional dutiesEffectively promote synergies and ensure coordination and collaboration with other areas of the GroupMake suggestions for improvement; bring innovative ideas and thinkingCarry out work in a gender and diversity-sensitive mannerAccomplish other duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's or Master'sdegree in Economics, finance, or other relevant fields.7-10 years of work experience, preferably in a client-facing role in financial institutionsKnowledge of the domain of the precious metalis an assetExperience in working with the Middle East, preferably in a sales roleExperience in or good understanding of commodity tradingQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSSuperior people relationship skillsExcellent awareness of risk management and compliance concepts and practicesAbility to work autonomouslyAgile and flexible mindset, reactive to requestsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures and respect for diversityGood IT skills; proficiency in the Windows environment is expectedProficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English is required#J-18808-Ljbffr
