Job Description

Project / Commissioning Assistant Sales ManagerReports to: Sales Head, General ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Sales HeadResponsible for the development and performance of all sales & Marketing activities in the assigned marketResponsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectivesEvaluates customer, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed.Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.Coordinate with Proposal team and ensures that the Bids are submitted in a timely manner.Propose monthly / Quarterly rolling forecast on the Sales.Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Process and register the RFQ/Tender for Automation/Instrumentation/Electrical Turnkey Projects.Preliminary scanning of the RFQ/Tender to decide to bid or no‑bid for Sales and management.Plan and get approval for Tender Bond and follow up with Accounts if any.Select best cost‑effective solution for Automation System.Coordinate with Principles for better pricing.Prepare the pre‑qualification document.Finalize the costing and prepare the techno‑commercial proposal and submit to the client.Attend all the TQ and clarification meetings and provide proper responses to the client.Maintain all revisions in offer and tracking.Prepare the bid‑check list and get appropriate approval.On winning the project, prepare clear Job transfer details and submit to Accounts and Project Team as per the company procedure/policy.Clarify all the budget‑related queries from Cost controller/Accounts/Procurement/Project Team throughout the project.Transfer the project to the Project Team with proper internal kick‑off and provide all the information including e‑mail communication.Clarification e‑mail/phone to customer if any and responses from Customer.Site visit for Sales & technical discussions.Co‑ordinates with Accounts for Tender Bond if any.Submission of offers/Tenders.Attending TQs/ Revisions/ changes from customer.Managing revision of offers and costing and submittal if any.Update the internal enquiry register on the order quoted/Won/Lost.Internal Kick‑off meeting with Project teams.Kick‑off meeting with customer.Clarifications to Accounts on Budget.Kick‑off meeting with Proposal Engineer. The Proposal Engineer explains all the following:RFQ and specs.System architecture.Scope of work and offer.Compliance statement.Important milestones if any.Key Relationships ForClientDesignProject ManagerGeneral ManagerSales & Commercial issuesPlanning, support, techno‑commercial issuesKey MeasuresHave good relationship with OEM and client.Submission of offers/Tenders.Commercial Risk Assessment.etc.AuthoritiesEstablishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.Managing and interpreting customer requirements.Controlled By: Sales Head#J-18808-Ljbffr
