Sales Engineer (API Pumps Experience)

Strong Connections & Influence with Local Major End Users/ EPC / PMC / Traders / ContractorsModerate Level Understanding of Centrifugal Pumps and standards - API / ISO / ANSI.Engage directly with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors to understand project requirements and present tailored pump solutions.Analyze customer specifications and recommend appropriate pump types and configurations.Support the sales cycle from initial inquiry through to order finalization, including site visits, RFQs, Technical discussions and negotiations.Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.Track and report market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines.Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and technical presentations.Drive client relationship management to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with API standards (e.g., API 610).Key Focus AreasAPI 610 & ISO centrifugal pump systemsTechnical sales and engineering consultationKey account management and client servicingProject coordination and cross-functional alignmentQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field8-10 years of experience in sales of API pumps or rotating equipmentStrong understanding of API pump standards and industrial applicationsProven experience managing sales cycles and technical client discussionsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsWillingness to frequent travel for business development and client meetingsPlease send your CV to nicole.doandes@akayindustries.nl#J-18808-Ljbffr
