We are actively seeking a new Sales Development Representative who will be responsible for identifying and facilitating new sales opportunities across Europe and the Middle East. The individual will have primary responsibility for running and managing sales campaigns across SS&Cs full range of fund services solutions.The company is proud of its heritage as an industry leader with best in class proprietary technology and a global footprint across all financial role would suit a collaborative target driven structured and hungry business development executive passionate about winning new business.The preferred candidate must have hedge funds and private markets experience.ResponsibilitiesProfessional fluency in English and Arabic would be beneficial.Help generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods including cold calling marketing campaigns industry events and conferences.Build campaigns with the sales lead to help generate new leadsHelp build a strong pipeline within Alternatives Investment space (e.g. Private Equity Real Assets Private & Public Debt Hedge Funds Asset Owners).Qualify potential prospects quickly to determine their suitability for a particular SS&C solution.Book qualified leads for the sales leads.Track all sales activities and touchpoints in SS&Cs CRM system to ensure timely accurate and complete information is represented on sales and management reporting.Assist to prepare prospect engagement documentation including discovery calls on-site and virtual presentations product demonstrations follow-up meetings.Follow up on all prospect activities in a timely must be an astute strategy and execution plan for each prospect interaction.Build strong industry relationships with prospects and expand your professional network within the alternative investment space.Work with Sales to prepare detailed write-ups on prospects that include a well-defined strategy tactics and prospect backgrounds to ensure internal resources and subject matter experts are prepared and briefed for sales presentations.Help build the firms brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leadsAttend industry events/conferences.Build solid industry knowledge to help with WhitepapersAssist the sales team with reportingExperiencePre-Sales / Business Development experience in the financial services technology industry or industry experience from working within financial institutions engaging c-suiteCompetenciesProfessional fluency in EnglishBachelors degree in finance economics or related area is advantageousAbility to make cold callsExcellent communication and writing skills including independent client facing presentations.Ability to initiate develop and maintain relationships and can represent SS&C both internally and externally.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter a quick learner and will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.Self-motivated and driven to deliver strong result.EEO Statement / Non‑agency DisclosureWe encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups to enable us to bring a diversity of perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
