Office Sales Coordinator – Construction Materials IndustryOverviewThe Office Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth order processing within the construction materials sector. This position requires strong coordination skills, product awareness, and the ability to manage fast‑moving inquiries from contractors, builders, project managers, and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily sales operations, including preparing quotations, BOQs, and material submittalsHandle customer inquiries related to construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, waterproofing, hardware, or finishing productsPrepare and follow up on sales orders, delivery notes, and invoicesTrack order status with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery to project sitesMaintain updated records of stock availability, pricing, and product specificationsSupport the sales team in preparing technical documents, product catalogs, and compliance certificatesCommunicate with suppliers for pricing, lead times, and material availabilityAssist in tender submissions by organizing documents, pricing sheets, and required certificationsMaintain CRM systems, sales reports, and customer databasesCoordinate with finance for payment follow‑ups, credit approvals, and account updatesSupport marketing activities such as preparing promotional materials or coordinating product demosPersonal AttributesDetail‑oriented and highly organizedCustomer‑focused with a service‑driven mindsetProactive and able to anticipate sales team needsStrong problem‑solving skillsProfessional, reliable, and team‑orientedSkillsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong understanding of construction materials, product categories, and industry terminologyExperience in sales coordination, customer service, or office administration within construction or building materialsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM toolsAbility to read basic technical drawings, BOQs, or material specifications (preferred)Strong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to multitask and work under tight deadlinesBachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
