Job Description As a Sales Engineer at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in driving sales team to achieve business targets by partnering with the Regional Sales Manager. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and taking ownership of all financial and commercial activities during Solution acquisition. This involves tasks such as contract analysis, cost calculation, cashflow projections, business models, taxation, financing concepts, currency, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, and compliance. - Cooperating with specialist departments and supporting in the preparation of comprehensive, on-time, competitive offers. - Analyzing tender documents, deriving bid strategies, and conducting contract negotiations until the contract is signed. Identifying risks for offers under preparation and driving necessary risk management measures. - Presenting offers and complex issues transparently to executive management. - Preparing and presenting qualitative Letters of Authorization (LoA) along with the Sales team. - Negotiating terms and conditions and consortium contracts with the bid team and other internal stakeholders. - Supporting the Sales team with various business models. - Performing Sales data analysis for driving decisions on reach, customers, pricing, etc. - Preparing monthly business reports for timely decisions. - Providing timely and qualitative information about order income, Sales SG&A cost controlling, etc., to maintain transparency in business transactions and enable management to take appropriate, timely, and corrective actions.
