Safety Officer

ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of OHS policies and programsAdvise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measuresCreate, review and update policies and measures and update according to legislationInitiate and organize OHS training of employees and executivesInspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)Oversee installations maintenance disposal of substances etc.Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthyRecord and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker s compensation claimsPrepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to the department concernedRepresent the company on matters regarding HSE on client facing platformsConduct trainings to the workforceFrequent inspections on site and share all unsafe acts and conditions to respective contractorsRoot cause analysis & corrective/preventive action planningMS Office & risk assessment software proficiencyStrong presentation, reporting and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of regulatory & statutory compliance (local & international)Knowledge of lighting and solar worksRequirementsExperience (Yrs & Field)More than 6 years working in a multi-project environment (in total)Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or in Occupational Safety, or in a related fieldMaster's degree in a relevant field is desirableProfessional CertificationsNEBOSH IGCSkills & AbilitiesManaging the project team, training skill, handle the client for safety issues, presentation skills, report preparation, and data analysis related to safetyDL IS MUST#J-18808-Ljbffr
