Job Description URGENT HIRING FOR SAFETY OFFICER || AHMEDABAD Location: Ahmedabad (On-site) Profile: Safety Officer Experience Required : 03-07 Years CTC Range: 5lpa- 8 Lpa (depends on interview Working Days 6 days Job Summary: The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment across all aerospace operations, including manufacturing, testing, integration, and launch-related activities. The role involves implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures in accordance with aerospace industry standards. Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and aerospace safety guidelines. Conduct regular safety inspections of laboratories, manufacturing areas, testing facilities, and launch preparation zones. Identify potential hazards in rocket manufacturing, propulsion systems, testing operations, and ground support equipment. Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive safety measures. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events and prepare detailed safety reports. Organize safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees and engineers. Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials such as propellants, chemicals, and pressurized systems. Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance. Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to integrate safety into design and operational processes. Maintain safety documentation, audit reports, and compliance records. Participate in emergency response planning and conduct mock drills for fire, explosion, and evacuation scenarios. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred). 37 years of experience in safety management, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, aviation, or heavy engineering industries. Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and risk management practices. Experience in handling hazardous materials and high-risk engineering environments.
