Safety Officer

<div><h3>Safety Officer</h3><p>Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.</p><p>The Safety Officer will report to the Safety Manager and proactively work to ensure continuous improvement of safety performance and awareness in the business unit.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitor the implementation of unit safety policy, processes, procedures and guidelines.</li><li>Provide expertise and support to the business unit on matters affecting safety.</li><li>Perform safety inspections/audits to verify compliance and identify deviations and risks.</li><li>Operate the accident&near miss incident investigation process, complete or verify accident and investigation reports in cooperation with line management and technical specialists.</li><li>Support line management and technical specialists in defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions from audits and investigation findings.</li><li>Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and share safety related information throughout the business unit.</li><li>Interact with external stakeholders (e.g. clients and authorities) in matters affecting safety under direction from the Safety Manager.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, health&safety management, or a relevant educational background.</li><li>1-2 years of experience in safety.</li><li>Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.</li><li>ISO 45001&ISO 14001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor experience is an added value.</li><li>Passionate about safety with excellent communication, training and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent English and Arabic language skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
