SAFETY OFFICER

ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Coordinate and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all workers and subcontractors.Maintain and update safety logs, inspection checklists, and incident / accident reports.Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and recommend corrective / preventive actions.Liaise with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure safety measures are integrated into the daily work plan.Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.Monitor and enforce compliance with UAE labor laws and local safety authority standards (e.g., DM, Trakhees, HSEAD, etc.).Assist in preparing safety reports for internal management and external stakeholders.Support emergency preparedness and response plans on site.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or equivalent).Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in the UAE / Gulf region.Must hold relevant certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent.Knowledge of local authority requirements and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in report writing and use of MS Office applications.Must be currently based in the UAE.Can join immediately.Vertical : Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
