<div><p>Job Title - Safety Manager (Pump Station Rehabilitation Project)</p><p>Project Value - AED 800 Million</p><p>Salary - From AED 35,000 per month (Negotiable for the right candidate)</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>This is a high-value, high-risk infrastructure project involving complex refurbishment works within an operational environment. The successful candidate will take full ownership of project HSE performance, leading a dedicated team of approximately 10 HSE professionals and interfacing directly with senior project leadership and client stakeholders.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><p>Provide strategic leadership and full accountability for HSE performance across the project</p><p>Develop, implement and continuously improve the project-specific HSE Management Plan in line with UAE regulations and international standards</p><p>Lead and manage a team of HSE Engineers, Officers and Advisors (approx. 10 personnel)</p><p>Ensure full compliance with ADOSH/ADPHC frameworks, client requirements and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards</p><p>Drive a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, behavioural initiatives and workforce engagement</p><p>Oversee risk management processes including HAZID, risk assessments, MSRAs and Critical Control Verification (CCV)</p><p>Manage all high-risk activities including confined space entry, lifting operations, electrical works, excavation and live plant interface</p><p>Act as the primary point of contact for client HSE representatives, consultants and regulatory authorities</p><h3>Candidate Requirements</h3><p>Minimum 10–15 years’ HSE experience within large-scale infrastructure, utilities or construction projects</p><p>Proven experience as a lead HSE Manager on major projects (AED 300M+ preferred)</p><p>Mandatory experience working on pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, or similar utility infrastructure</p><p>Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations (ADOSH / ADPHC frameworks)</p><p>Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) - essential</p><p>Demonstrated experience leading and managing HSE teams on complex projects</p><p>Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive behavioural change</p><p>Experience working in live operational environments and managing interface risks</p><p>Excellent communication and reporting skills</p><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><p>A hands‑on leader - not a clipboard manager</p><p>Someone who can challenge poor behaviours at senior level</p><p>Proven ability to take control of underperforming projects and turn HSE performance around</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>This role is open to both local and international candidates</p><p>Experience within international contractor environments and multi‑cultural project teams will be highly regarded</p><p>Competitive package including salary uplift for exceptional candidates with proven major project delivery</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
