Safety Engineer / Safety Officer

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans at project sites.Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits; ensure corrective actions are effectively closed.Ensure compliance with client safety requirements and local UAE regulations.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training programs for site personnel.Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance.Maintain HSE documentation, permits, inspection records, and safety statistics.Participate in emergency response planning, mock drills, and safety committee meetings.Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, HR, and Clients on safety-related matters.Support ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 compliance and internal/external audits.Experience Required4 – 12 Years (Minimum 3–5 years in Oil & Gas mandatory)EducationBachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent (Regular study from reputed university)Certifications RequiredNEBOSH IGC (Mandatory), IOSH / NEBOSH IDip / CSP or Equivalent, Level 7 Diploma in HSE, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor, Incident Investigation Course, Train the Trainer, Environmental Safety Certification.SkillsStrong knowledge of Oil & Gas HSE standardsRisk Assessment & Hazard IdentificationAccident Investigation & Root Cause AnalysisSafety Auditing & Compliance MonitoringEmergency Response PlanningStrong communication and leadership skillsReport writing and documentation skillsAbility to work in high-risk industrial environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
