Construction Field Engineer (Interface Engineer- Pipeline)

Project/ PIRJob Location:Job type/Contract:Long Term ContractSingle Status.Local Transportation on Site.Reports to the Site Manager.Field Engineering is thelogical continuation of engineering activities carried out at HomeOffice.Responsible for the checkingand the correct management of the Project documentation, of theamendments and/or additions to the same.Cooperates with the SiteManager and the Construction Manager in verifying the feasibility of theconstruction schedule on the ground of the actual availability at Siteof technical documentation and materials.Ensures any addition orchange to the technical documents according to Field requirements and heis responsible for reviewing of site technical queries, including fieldsketches and modifications to any project engineering drawings, asrequired.Executes, in coordinationwith Contractor Home Office, any modifications and additions to Projectdocuments, providing for final “as-built” revision of the same.Duties and responsibilitiesTo ensure the recording,filing, reproduction, proper distribution and control of PlantConstruction documents.Provide assistance toConstruction Management/Supervision Group for Project system definitionsand turnover/hand over documentation at Project completion phase.To ensure inspection, asrequired to support the QA-QC group.Review, as required,construction method statements.To co-ordinate theengineering activities awarded to Subcontractors.To prepare his own section ofthe Monthly report.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree inEngineering.ExperienceNo experience is required –Fresh Graduates.Completed National Service(without exception).Excellent communicationskills in English.Willingness to work at site(Ruwais).Skills and AbilitiesExcellent analytical skills.Excellent communications andinterpersonal skills.Strong interpersonal,team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong biastoward timely performance and problem resolutionAttention to detail, strongcommunications and interpersonal skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
