ROV Pilot Technician

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled ROV Pilot Technician to support offshore ROV operations in subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) activities. The successful candidate will operate and maintain ROV systems under the supervision of an ROV Supervisor, ensuring all tasks are conducted safely and effectively in compliance with project and HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate ROV systems during subsea tasks including inspections, survey support, and light intervention.Assist in the launch and recovery of ROV systems.Perform routine and corrective maintenance on ROVs, TMS (Tether Management System), and associated tooling.Monitor real-time video feeds and support video/data logging during operations.Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components of ROV systems.Conduct pre- and post-dive checks and maintain detailed dive logs and maintenance records.Comply with all safety procedures and participate in toolbox talks and job risk assessments.Work collaboratively with vessel crew, clients, and the wider project team.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 1–3 years experience in offshore ROV operations.Familiarity with observation-class or work-class ROVs (e.g., Seaeye Falcon, Triton,).Relevant ROV Pilot Technician certification (IMCA-aligned or equivalent).Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.Offshore survival certifications: BOSIET/FOET, H2S, Offshore Medical.Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.Good communication and teamwork skills.PreferencesPrior experience with subsea inspections.Working knowledge of subsea data logging and reporting systems.How To ApplyPlease submit your updated CV, certificates, and details of previous experiences on the job posting or to info@oceantechsubsea.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
