OverviewJob Title: Rolling Stock Technician Interior Fitting (Duration 6 months only)Location: Dubai UAEDepartment: Rolling Stock Maintenance / ManufacturingReports To: Rolling Stock Supervisor / Team LeaderJob SummaryThe Rolling Stock Technician (Interior Fitting) is responsible for the installation maintenance and inspection of interior components on metro rail vehicles. This includes fitting panels seats flooring partitions lighting systems and other interior elements in accordance with design specifications safety standards and quality requirements.ResponsibilitiesInstall and fit interior components such as wall panels ceilings lighting flooring partitions windows grab poles and seating systems.Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.Assist in the assembly of new metro rail vehicles or refurbishment of existing fleet interiors.Use hand tools power tools and specialized equipment to cut shape and assemble interior fittings.Work with other trades including electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate installation work.Carry out fault diagnosis and corrective actions for interior systems and fittings.Ensure all interior components meet safety functionality and aesthetic standards.Document work completed report defects or deviations and ensure traceability of materials and components.Follow health safety and environmental regulations strictly.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.QualificationsTechnical diploma or certification in Mechanical Fitting or a related discipline.2 years of experience in interior fitting preferably in the rail aviation or automotive sector.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.Skilled in the use of hand tools measuring instruments and power equipment.Strong attention to detail precision and quality control.Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.Understanding of safety practices in a workshop or rail environment.Additional InformationExperience with metro or light rail vehicles.Familiarity with international rail standards (e.g. EN UIC).Knowledge of fire safety materials insulation and passenger information systems.Please note candidates who are willing to work for 6 months duration only apply others please dont applyOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeContract#J-18808-Ljbffr
