Rolling Stock Overhaul Supervisor (Qatar)

Job DescriptionSupervise and oversee overhaul and repair activities of Rolling Stock components, ensuring compliance with production plans, railway standards, and maintenance specifications.Lead and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, promoting Zero Harm initiatives and conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.Plan and manage resources including manpower, tools, materials, and third‑party services to meet daily production targets and contractual KPIs.Ensure quality assurance through monitoring completed work, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating effective shift handovers.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, eliminate non‑conformance costs, and support productivity and operational efficiency enhancements.Provide strong leadership by coaching, developing, and monitoring team performance while fostering a high‑performance culture aligned with company values.Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance policies, and commercial requirements while maintaining accurate operational records and reports.RequirementsMust have a minimum 7–10 years of experience in Rolling Stock maintenance or overhaul.Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a rail or heavy industrial environment.Must have hands‑on experience with overhaul of Bogies, Couplers, Gangways, Doors, HVAC, and related systems.Strong understanding of Rolling Stock maintenance standards and railway regulations, with experience interpreting VMI documentation and quality procedures.Skilled in fault diagnosis, technical reporting, and the use of maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS/SAP), with working knowledge of continuous improvement practices such as Lean.Strong knowledge of HSE regulations within rail operations and safe systems of work.Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract performance targets.BenefitsEmployment Type: Full‑TimeNotice Period / Availability: Immediate or 1‑Month NoticeSalary: Competitive (Based on experience and qualifications)Benefits: Full Package as per company policy#J-18808-Ljbffr
