You are responsible for prioritising and assisting in our day to day IT requests and issues, managing our IT assets and supporting implementation of projects with the team. You report directly to the Local IT Manager and are able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, high-performing, service-orientated environment. You apply and interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enrich the business and in keeping with BCG's values and culture.You will be responsible for:Providing on-site technology support in both home and office environments, over a variety of platforms and devices (e.g. PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.)Utilizing your knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory to provide 1st/2nd line IT support to our usersTroubleshooting and logging any technical issues received via phone call or ticket in the IT Service Management tool Service NowAssisting with the documentation of critical and routine technical procedures as well as end user literatureTroubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systems and support key users if requiredAssist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including all required user profile configuration and data migrationAssist with hardware asset tracking and inventory managementAssist on projects in an operational capacity for both global and local initiativesProvide support in managing telecom services, including assisting with SIM card requests, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with local providers and Webbing as per procedures.YOU’RE GOOD ATFocus on excellent customer service and the needs of the BCG user community through clear and precise communication (written and verbal), time-management and collaboration skillsSelf-starting attitude and resourcefulness to identify, analyse and solve problems that may ariseProfessionalism to be able to respect all BCG information as personal and confidentialAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment displaying consideration and respect for othersAble to exercise sound judgment and initiative while demonstrating competence and character that inspires trustAppetite for continuous learning to further IT knowledge and career developmentMeticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while displaying tact and patience in stressful situationsAbility to follow established procedures/standardsClear communication style and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders both orally and written in excellent EnglishWhat You'll BringFinal-year university student eligible for COOP in June 2026Ability to effectively communicate and present technical concepts to management, peer group and staffAbility to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or elevate to the appropriate expertise areaWindows 11, Windows server, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365 and Cloud file share support experienceMS Teams/Zoom/WebEx meeting setup and basic troubleshooting experienceBasic LAN and IP networking knowledge and ability to approach issues logically using OSI model or similarSCCM or imaging software experienceExposure to cloud technology • VoIP experienceAbility to use AI Tools such as ChatGPT with promptsWORKING ENVIRONMENTShared office spaceSome lifting/moving equipment is requiredOccasional weekend work or late/early hours as per business needsEmployment Type: Internship, Job Type: Temporary for 6 monthsBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
