Rigging Draughtsman

Position: Structural Draftsman (Lifting Plan / AutoCAD)Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC)Start Date: ASAPDuration: 3 Months (Extendable)FAT: NegotiableIndustry: Oil & Gas Pipeline ProjectJob Purpose:We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman experienced in AutoCAD and lifting plan preparation to support an Oil & Gas pipeline project. The role involves creating accurate and detailed lifting plans and structural drawings to ensure safe and efficient heavy lifting operations at site.Key Responsibilities:Prepare lifting plans (both Critical and Standard) and structural drawings using AutoCAD.Interpret engineering sketches, load charts, and lifting procedures to produce accurate and practical drawings.Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, safety standards, and rigging requirements.Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback and site conditions.Collaborate with engineers, lifting supervisors, and site teams for the execution of lifting activities.Maintain proper documentation of all lifting-related drawings and revisions.Requirements:Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Drafting (Engineering background preferred).Experience: Minimum 45 years in drafting, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or heavy lifting projects.Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD (Structural Drafting).Experience preparing lifting plans and understanding lifting equipment.Knowledge of rigging techniques and relevant safety standards.Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Soft Skills: Good communication and coordination skills.Soft Skills: Ability to work independently under tight schedules.Preferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience in heavy lifting operations.Familiarity with international lifting standards such as BS, ASME, and OSHA.#J-18808-Ljbffr
