Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Purpose:The Rigger is responsible for safely preparing, lifting, positioning, and securing equipment, structures, and materials at job sites. The role ensures all rigging activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards and project requirements. The candidate must hold a valid third-party rigging certification and possess a Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics.Key Responsibilities:Perform all rigging activities such as lifting, hoisting, positioning, and securing heavy materials and equipment.Inspect lifting tools, slings, shackles, chains, and rigging accessories before use to ensure safety and compliance.Work closely with crane operators, signalmen, and site supervisors to execute safe lifting operations.Read and interpret lifting plans, load charts, and technical diagrams.Ensure all rigging setups are stable, secure, and meet load-bearing requirements.Monitor and guide lifting operations using appropriate hand signals or communication devices.Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.Maintain accurate records of rigging inspections, tools, and daily activity reports.Assist in installing telecom/electrical equipment where applicable, based on diploma specialization.Comply with all company safety policies, lifting procedures, and industry standards.Qualifications & Requirements:Mandatory: Valid third-party Rigger Certification (Lifting & Rigging).Mandatory: Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in rigging operations within construction, industrial, telecom, or infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of lifting procedures, load limits, and risk assessments.Ability to read lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements.Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA, LEEA, or equivalent.Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and in outdoor/site environments.Skills Required:Rigging and lifting expertiseStrong safety awarenessGood communication and teamworkAbility to handle tools and equipment safelyProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work under minimal supervisionAdditional Requirements:Valid Qatar ID and ability to join immediately (preferred)Flexibility to work in shifts, remote areas, or high structures#J-18808-Ljbffr
