Rider Health and Safety Senior Specialist

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support and implement rider health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.</li><li>Conduct regular safety assessments and risk evaluations for riders’ work environments and delivery routes.</li><li>Monitor riders’ compliance with safety protocols and provide guidance for improvement.</li><li>Ensure customer delivery experience and safety (food safety practices, rider-customer interaction, hygiene, etc.)</li><li>Organize health and safety initiatives/events for the riders’ community, including safe driving, well‑being initiatives, etc.</li><li>Monitor accident and incident reporting framework.</li><li>Identify safety issues and propose solutions.</li><li>Support the reporting, documentation, and follow‑up of rider‑related incidents, near misses, and safety observations.</li><li>Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive action tracking.</li><li>Ensure incident records are complete, accurate, and closed within required timelines.</li><li>Monitor recurring trends and elevate key risks to management.</li></ul><h3>Governance and Resilience</h3><ul><li>Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes for the daily work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices to enhance effectiveness.</li></ul><h3>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS</h3><h3>Knowledge and Experience</h3><ul><li>3 - 5 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Good understanding of operational safety risks in logistics, transportation, field operations, or last‑mile environments.</li><li>Experience in reporting, data tracking, and safety performance monitoring.</li><li>Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.</li></ul><h3>Education and Certifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred; a degree in Health, Safety, or a relevant field is also acceptable.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
