Retail Inventory Controller

Purpose & Overall Relevance for theOrganisation:Monitoring andmaintaininglevels of inventory between systems,storesandwarehouse. Ensuring correct Retail controls and procedures are implemented at store level andaccurateSTOH information delivered to Snr Manager Retail Operations Manager & Snr Manager ConsumerexcellenceKey Responsibilities:Run a series of inventory reports ondaily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of item performance.Develop accurate, consistent, and enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.Identify “heavy” and “low” turninventory items andmaintaincommunication reports for the respective teams.Control inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance analysis)Diligent investigationsrequiredto solve problems in the systems.Maintenance and accountability ofhigh levelsof customer service (internal and external).Minimize inaccuracy of store stock data .Driving the stock audit process from planning to execution .Stock items and stock revenue to be accurately managed inaLSand SAP for 100%alignmentAbility to organize vast amounts of data.Work proactively to propose process changes which will preventirregularitiesStore receiving and shipping of inventory into and out of the company’s warehouse including EOS transfers and inter branchtransfersResults of investigations and enormities aboutpossible losspreventionissues toreported directly to Snr Manager Retail Operations.Key Performance Indicators:Shrinkage target defined each year (administration)To ensure all uniforms & Damages adjustedmonthlyPRP Internal controls Audit Results (relevant sections)Investigations closed within48hoursSystem alignment -monthly results between 98%100%Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :Advanced user of MS Office suite of productsRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:University degree or diploma level.3-4 years of retail inventory control experience withfocuson business.Industry experience in Sports/Consumer goods.Culture & Values:COURAGE:Speak up when you see an opportunity; step up when you see a need.OWNERSHIP:Pick up the ball.
