Resident Engineer – Wet Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Resident Engineer Wet Services to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this crucial role you will be responsible for overseeing the design installation and maintenance of wet services systems in various construction projects throughout the region.Develop and review comprehensive wet services engineering designs including plumbing drainage and fire protection systemsEnsure strict compliance with local building codes regulations and industry standards in the UAECollaborate with architects contractors and other engineering disciplines to seamlessly integrate wet services systems into overall project designsConduct regular site inspections to monitor installation progress and maintain the highest quality standards for wet services systemsEfficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to wet services on construction sitesPrepare and review detailed technical reports specifications and drawingsManage project timelines budgets and resources effectively to meet organizational goalsProvide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and techniciansStay at the forefront of the latest technologies and best practices in wet services engineeringImplement innovative and sustainable design solutions in wet services projectsEnsure adherence to health and safety regulations on all project sitesQualifications : Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in wet services engineering with a focus on plumbing drainage and fire protection systemsProfessional Engineering (PE) license preferredProven experience in construction site supervision and project managementIn-depth knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations related to wet servicesProficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) softwareStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyThorough familiarity with construction industry practices in the UAEWillingness to travel to various project sites within Abu Dhabi and the surrounding areasKnowledge of sustainable design practices in wet services engineeringHealth and safety certification (e.g. OSHA or equivalent)Adaptability to changing project requirements and innovative thinking in problem-solvingAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
