Resident Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading cybersecurity-focused organization delivering advanced network protection solutions across enterprise environments. The company is seeking a Resident Engineer to support ongoing security infrastructure projects, including migrations, technical refresh initiatives, and operational enhancements.ResponsibilitiesWork with a broad range of next‑generation firewall models across mid‑range and high‑performance series.Lead migration activities from legacy firewall devices to newer hardware platforms.Execute full technical refresh projects for network security infrastructure.Manage centralized security management solutions, including complex migration and operational tasks.Perform security enhancements, respond to incidents, and conduct device cleanup and hardening procedures.Support private cloud–based deployments and maintain strong routing and switching capabilities.Qualifications and SkillsExtensive experience with next‑generation firewall platforms and their operational lifecycle.Strong background in configuration migration and large‑scale security infrastructure upgrades.Advanced experience with centralized firewall management tools and multi‑device operations.Strong knowledge of security enhancements, incident response processes, and device hardening methodologies.Experience working in cloud environments, particularly private cloud setups.Solid routing and switching expertise, enabling effective troubleshooting and network integration.Halian GroupWith over 28 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.Our resourcing and smart services help you to realize tomorrow’s potential.
