Resident Engineer

Job Title: Resident EngineerLocation: Al Dhafra Region, Emirate of Abu Dhabi, UAEJob DescriptionICON are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Resident Engineer (RE) to oversee and manage a cycle track and landscape construction project in the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Civil Engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure projects, particularly cycle tracks, roads and landscape, and must be familiar with Abu Dhabi's regulations and construction standards. This role requires a professional with strong leadership, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring project quality, safety, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all aspects of the cycle track and landscape project to ensure successful execution in alignment with the project scope, schedule, and budget.Ensure that construction practices and materials comply with relevant Abu Dhabi standards, project specifications, and quality assurance protocols.Lead and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong communication and resolving issues promptly.Monitor daily construction activities on‑site, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, while identifying and mitigating potential risks.Regularly assess project progress, prepare detailed reports, and provide updates to project managers and clients.Address and resolve any challenges that arise during construction, coordinating with design and engineering teams as needed.Act as the primary on‑site representative, liaising with clients, authorities, and other relevant entities to ensure clear and effective communication.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on road and cycle track projects within Abu Dhabi; at least 2 years of experience as a Resident Engineer for similar project scope.Currently residing in Abu Dhabi.Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of Abu Dhabi's construction regulations and practices.PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.Employment DetailsEmployment Type: Full‑time, project‑basedLocation: Project site in Al Dhafra, Emirate of Abu DhabiQualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting their updated CV and cover letter.#J-18808-Ljbffr
