Resident Engineer – Construction Supervision (High-Rise Projects)

Location: Dubai, UAEExperience: 8+ YearsRole OverviewThe Resident Engineer will act as the on-site representative of the consultant, responsible for supervising all construction activities and ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.Monitor daily site operations and proactively resolve issues related to design, materials, or execution.Oversee and guide contractors, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure efficient and high-quality work delivery.Inspect materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site records, and technical evaluations.Coordinate and manage maintenance activities for systems, turbines, generators, and associated equipment.Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Identify gaps and recommend improvements in construction processes, resource utilization, and execution strategies.Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth coordination of schedules and project requirements.Provide timely technical support and respond to client queries throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations at the site.Participate in performance evaluation and assessment of engineering and site personnel.Handle high-rise project complexities, ensuring safe and compliant vertical construction practices.Key RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision, including at least 5 years on high-rise building projects.Proven experience in managing site activities, contractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.Work ScheduleAlternate Saturdays OffSundays Fixed OffCompany ProfileEstablished in 1972, this reputed Engineering and Architectural Consultancy based in Dubai, UAE has over 50 years of industry experience and has successfully completed 800+ diverse projects across all emirates, including high-rise towers, mixed-use facilities, industrial logistics, luxury homes, and infrastructure planning.
