Reserving Actuarial Analyst (Junior)

-Support with quarterly reserving, including preparation of IFRS17-specific actuarial data with includes:creation of paid and outstanding claims triangles and reconciliation to the financialsestimation of earned premiumsestimation of claims IBNR reservesIFRS17 specific estimationssupport the external audit reviews.-Preparation of reserving reports such as the annual FC`R for Qatar or the quarterly packs for the Reserving Committees.-Interactions with key stakeholders across four countries (Qatar, UAE, Oman and Kuwait) with varying degrees of involvement and specifically with the Finance, IT, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Claims departments-Support actuarial projects geared towards improving quality and granularity of the actuarial output and more automation.Skills and Demonstrated Experience1-2 years experience in General insurance.Effective communication skills - both written and spoken English is mandatory.Prior knowledge of ResQ or similar other non-life reserving tool desirable.Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools and coding desirable.Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field#J-18808-Ljbffr
